This sweet kid was in town visiting family and they all decided it was high time for a photo shoot! I am so glad that they did! We had a fun morning playing at TJ Design Studio with a few new props! Check out the fun pink canopy 🙂
This cutie was a special treat for me! His mom is a good friend who lives out of the area and it was my first opportunity to see her new little guy! It was also a rare occasion that my three kids came on a photo shoot (visit!) and that added an interesting complication to the day. I have to say that they were very well-behaved and earned a trip to Grandma’s house afterward 🙂 Thankfully they kept busy playing hide-n-seek outside on that beautiful morning and allowed us to focus on this little peanut! He had a tiny cranky spell but the new Momma filled his tummy and we got to work! Babies are so fun!
Imagine this, two little boys with lots of energy, a photo studio with hots lights and a silly photographer trying to get them to smile on cue…just my average Saturday morning these days! I love my life!
Their mom and I tried to tame the goofies to get the job done but they were on a roll! I was able to catch a few nice smiles but the pirate eye was itching to get a shot 😉 So I gave in and it paid off with some fun shots of these adorable boys! Thanks for the fun day guys!
Keep a look out for my next post! I had a fun session today for a friend and her brand new baby boy!
Thanks and have a great day!
I met this great photographer friend, Kristen Purrington with Purrington Photography, at Mother’s of Faith this year. We started talking cameras and she mentioned a wedding she had coming up and was in need of another photographer, so she asked if I might be interested in second shooting for her. Well of course I was! The wedding was in early June and the day was perfect but could not compare with this beautiful bride!
It is always a pleasure to work with someone whose photography you admire but the greatest blessing was getting to know Kristen better. She is a beautiful person inside and out!
What a fabulous experience! I am so thankful to Kristen for the opportunity! Ciao!
I just love daisies! Right now my fields are full of them and every chance I get to photograph kids with daisies is a sweet blessing! Thanks to Amy I could give my kids the day off and take a turn with her two cuties! First off, we had to give them a peak at the horses and then we were on a roll! Down by the pond the lighting was just right and the kids were troopers even in the wet grass 🙂 Thanks for visiting! Enjoy the daisies!
Last week I was asked to photograph the family of an old (but young!) friend! She is now my neighbor and it was a great time to join them down the road for a very fun photo shoot! Shannon and her husband have worked so hard on their gardens this summer, with beautiful results! You should check out her blog at www.greenshannonmarie.blogspot.com, she has some unique insights on going green! Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I did taking them! God bless you today!
I was so excited when Catie called me for a session! Her brother, his wife and their parents were all visiting for the 4th of July weekend so she wanted to take the opportunity for a family photo. She and her husband have a beautiful house on the lake and their yard is so cool! I just loved the white fence and all the daisies (my favorite flower!)! We had great weather and I got the chance to get some fun shots of their kids too! Enjoy!
I am so happy to post these images because they mean so much to me! My sister-in-law was married in Michigan recently and gave me the pleasure of photographing her wedding. I am so blessed to have a wonderful extended family and it is so fun to have sisters! This summer Mike’s youngest sister is living with us as she interns at Karvakko Engineering. We are having a great time with her already and it has been fun to give her a sneak peak at the wedding images as I edit them!
Nick and Stacey’s big day could not have gone better! The weather, although a little cool, was beautiful with breaks of bright sun and the perfect light to photograph a wedding! St. Peter & Paul’s church was extrodinary! They have the most incredible hand-crafted wood paraments for their alter and cross! I think the most interesting part of the day was the trip in an old trolley car up the big hill to a golf course for more pictures! It was a treat to capture all the fun and festivities! Thanks guys for this fabulous day! May God bless the happy couple!
